God’s Word for Today

They gave what they’d never miss. She gave what she’d feel tomorrow. Heaven measures a gift not by its size, but by what’s left behind.

Your hunger is not proof you're far from God. Often it's the first sign He's drawing you near. A full soul stops seeking. A hungry one comes looking.

Fear asks, “What if?” Faith answers, “God will be there.” You do not need tomorrow’s answers today—only grace for this moment, courage to obey, and trust in God’s faithfulness.

Before Peter ever failed, Jesus had already prayed for him. Though sifted, shaken, and broken, Peter was not abandoned. Christ preserved his faith, restored his calling, and strengthened him again.

Counterfeit power may imitate God’s work, but it can never equal His authority. Stay rooted in Scripture, know Christ deeply, and ask the Holy Spirit for discernment to recognize truth.

Same soil, same seeds, same summer. What survived the frost was simply what had been brought inside. Stay close to Jesus; winter can't steal what He shelters.

You never lost access to God. You just walked out without carrying it. Hold His Word close, and when you forget, His door is still open.

You are not the owner of your gifts. You are the one trusted with them. The question isn't how much you have, but who it's for.
